The Mojo Handle is a luxurious portable handle with a wooden Rosewood finish. The Mojo Handle is the basis for an extensive portable video setup for your smartphone to record vlogs. MoJo is an abbreviation for Mobile Journalism, a new generation of journalists who film and record sound with just their smartphone. The kit comes with 1 Rosewood wooden handle, 1 PC-90II Phone clamp, 1 VC-1 Long rail and 1 Cold shoe. With these accessories, you can create a complete setup to record video with almost all current smartphones such as the iPhone 12 and Samsung Galaxy S21.
MoJo combinations
At the top of a Mojo Handle is a ¼-inch threaded connection for a ball head of your choice. You fix the connection with the turning wheel. At the bottom there is a ¼-inch screw hole so you can extend it with, for example, a small table tripod. On the side of the handle there are three more ¼-inch screw holes to attach accessories. It is 142mm long and weighs only 104 grams. The rosewood finish makes it comfortable to hold. The kit comes in a handy black bag with a hook for attaching it to your camera bag.
Making a setup
First you mount the VC-1 Long rail on the handle. Then you mount the Phone Clamp and finally you place the Cold shoe on top of the Phone Clamp. The Long rail has a ¼-inch screw hole at the end, allowing you to attach an external microphone or LED light, for example. You can also choose to place one of these accessories on top of the Cold Shoe. The height of the Phone Clamp can be adjusted from 56mm to 90mm. You can lock the height with the slider on the side.
