Compact zoom lens With a weight of 135g, the XC15-45mm F3.5-5.6 OIS PZ lens is the lightest zoom in the X Series lens range. It also features an electric zoom mechanism which means the lens will automatically extend when the camera is switched on and retracts when turned off.
Versatile 23-69mm equivalent focal length The focal range of 15-45mm is popular among photographers and this lens gives a 35mm equivalent of 23-69mm so a broad range of subjects can be captured, from wide landscapes and group shots to street and general photography and even portraits. The close focusing capability makes for impressive macro shots too.
Smooth and silent The XC15-45mm F3.5-5.6 OIS PZ offers two different zoom speeds, which can be selected by rotating the zoom ring. This is great for moviemakers as the lens zooms through the range smoothly. It also has a stepping motor to provide fast and silent autofocus.
Optical Image Stabilisation for extra freedom With its own Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) that offers three stops of shake compensation, it’s much easier to capture handheld images that are free from accidental blur due to small movements. This is particularly useful for shooting in low-light situations when a slow shutter speed is required for an accurate exposure.
